Things to do for diabetics during fasting:

* Check blood glucose levels regularly.
* If you feel restless or sick, try measuring your blood glucose level quickly. These symptoms may be due to hypoglycemia.
* Even if the blood glucose level is 300, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
* Take anti-diabetic medication or insulin as advised by the doctor. The doctor will change the time of taking the medicine for the time of fasting.

Diabetics should eat food like iftar:

* It is important for everyone to choose the right and healthy food. Patients with diabetes have no choice. Wrong and unhealthy foods can upset the balance of blood glucose levels. So be careful in choosing food.
* Eat healthy and nutritious food during Iftar, take a little.
* No matter how thirsty you are when you see sherbet in Iftar, don't touch it at all, don't eat sugar-rich and deep-fried food.
* Avoid eating too much and heavy food. Because these can cause flatulence and acidity problems. Eat small meals.
* Take healthy fluids after breaking the fast. Water is the best drink. You can also drink lachchi without lemon water, whey, sweets. Avoid soft drinks, fruit juices, packaged sweet drinks. Stay healthy.
* Do not drink caffeinated beverages such as coffee, soda or frizzy drinks. Because, these drinks can cause dehydration.

Diabetics should eat such foods as:

* Sehri must drink enough water.
* Eat low glycemic index and high fiber foods. This type of food stays in the stomach for a long time and the appetite is reduced. Foods with low glycemic index are brown rice, wheat, oats or barley.
* You can eat legumes like peas, low-fat milk and cheese. Also, eat the whole fruit. Add pulses and vegetables to your diet.

What you can eat:

Sehri - 2 pieces of medium size grilled/baked/steamed chicken and 1 a loaf of bread or 1 whole wheat chicken roll.
Iftar - 2 egg whites and 1 whole wheat bread, or 2 oatmeal pancakes and 1 a glass of milk.
Dinner - 1 bowl of salad, 2 fish and 1 loaf of bread or 1 bowl of chicken-polao and 1 bowl of vegetables.
